To recognize National Minority Health Month, this year’s symposium, entitled, The Movement to Build Positive Childhood, Adult and Community Experiences: Preventing and Mitigating Environmental Trauma, will focus on environmental and political determinants of health that cause intergenerational trauma. Since 2019, the ACEs Trauma Symposium has brought together thought leaders and world-renowned experts to share innovative strategies for preventing and mitigating trauma, physical health and mental health disparities, and food insecurity, among the most vulnerable communities. The ACEs Awareness Foundation and Essie B. & William Earl Glenn Foundation for Better Living’s sincere intent is to bring together professionals across industries to define strategies to mitigate adverse childhood experiences and trauma and we hope that you will consider supporting our symposium.
