Due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Trauma Awareness Symposium is rescheduled for 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Monday, August 17, 2020,
In the interest of public safety, the Essie B. & William Earl Glenn Foundation for Better Living, in partnership with the ACEs Awareness Foundation, has decided to postpone June 22, 2020, the scheduled date for the ACEs Trauma Awareness Symposium to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our speakers, attendees, sponsors, and the communities you serve. Taking this step is driven by a global public health concern now looming the nation. Therefore, we must respect the decisions and legal mandates of local and federal health officials.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has caused a rapidly evolving national and global public health crisis, which has prompted many unprecedented actions to be deployed. In Mississippi, a State of Emergency has been declared. The Center for Disease Control (CDC), State Health Departments, and the World Health Organization (WHO) have issued numerous updates surrounding COVID-19.
For updates on the Coronavirus, please continue to monitor the progression of COVID-19 and be a part of the active solution of containment. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html
